Career Highlights

Prior to obtaining his LL.M. in taxation, Justin clerked for a boutique tax firm in Kansas City, Missouri where he performed both tax related and business undertakings for partnerships, corporations and individuals’ estates. While at Golan & Christie, Justin has been successful in numerous tax controversies and prevailed in a Motion for Summary Judgment in Federal District Court on a tax issue of first impression. An article Justin co-authored entitled “Estate and Gift Tax Updates and Opportunities in the Current Economy,” was nationally published in August of 2009.

“I disagree with Albert Einstein when he said, 'the hardest thing to understand in the world is the income tax.' Quantum physics was always lost on me, but I enjoy the complexity and challenges inherent in the Internal Revenue Code. Working to achieve the most advantageous tax result for clients, with careful planning and creative solutions, is something in which I take great pride and pleasure.”
